While it has now been some years since the HLC last published a blog post, the blog is not forgotten, and our group chat remains the HLC.
Recently, it came to our attention that the HLC was cited in The New Cambridge History of the English Language (you can access Ayumi Miura’s chapter here, but it is unfortunately behind a paywall).
Surely, this exceptional occasion warrants a celebratory post!
